Happy Independence Day 2012
No photos of fireworks here. Just one of my new favorite pictures of Bryan (in his US Navy Veteran t-shirt). Of course no outfit is complete without an accessory, and Bryan’s accessory in this photo is his favorite rooster-in-training, Stuart.
Now, back to our red, white, and blue holiday dessert (angel food cake, strawberries, blueberries, and cheesecake pudding cream).

Stuart is our smallest chicken amongst the Mottled Javas. Technically, until he is a year old he is a cockerel, not a rooster. He loves to be held and is the first one to come running to us. He will hop right up on us and loves to climb to our shoulders or heads and just hang out. We had no idea that chickens could have such personality.
